Challenged with driving brand awareness via earned coverage in the lead up to and during Southampton International Boat Show, we set out to cement the show as Britain’s biggest festival of boating.

We delivered a multi-faceted campaign in the run up to and throughout the duration of the show that included a busy press office generating listings coverage and features. We also led on talent management, an influencer programme, creative stunts, press accreditation, and even hosting royalty.
From hiring a hawk as ‘Head of Seagull Security’ to keep visitors’ chips safe from seagulls, to recreating the Beatles’ ‘Abbey Road’ album cover on paddleboards to mark 55 years of the album and the show, we worked tirelessly to drive quality earned media for the show.
We managed HRH The Princess Royal’s visit to the show, as well as bringing in famous faces including Below Deck’s Captain Glenn Shepherd and Daisy Kelliher, plus Rob Rinder to host the show’s first ever awards.
