There’s nothing quite like spending a day on the coast, sun shining, chips in hand – but when those annoying seagulls strike, your lunch can very quickly be ruined. That’s the human truth we identified for British Marine, who asked us to drive excitement and consideration of Southampton International Boat Show across the show’s 10-day run.

We hired ‘Rufus the Hawk’ – famed for keeping pigeons away from Wimbledon’s tennis courts – to act as our Head of Seagull Security at the show. The news and imagery were packaged up with data that proved Brits are tired of having their food stolen at the coast, with Southampton being named one of the most likely places to have your chips nicked by seagulls, naturally.
